1 I found the title essay to be quite interesting, and a good metaphor for our times. As was the one about the Iks.

3 IIRC, there are three or four sets of essays by Lewis. Yet another author I've neglected after first discovering and then buying everything in print. The Ever-Tottering To Be Read Pile totters higher and higher!
