I found the title essay to be quite interesting, and a good metaphor for our times. As was the one about the Iks.

IIRC, there are three or four sets of essays by Lewis. Yet another author I've neglected after first discovering and then buying everything in print. The Ever-Tottering To Be Read Pile totters higher and higher!
