P.J. O'Rourke on Talk Radio

Well, actually, not on the radio, but in the Atlantic, covering current conservative commentary.

I really need to get a P.J. O'Rourke book to take on vacation this Summer. Any suggestions?

(Yet another hat tip to one of my favorite Australians).

1 Parliament of Whores is *the* classic, but Holidays in Hell is great (and in addition to being a good read, what delicious perversity in being seen with a book of that title while you're on vacation, no?). Although there are books of his that I like better (although I pretty much like 'em all), my most cherished P.J. volume is The CEO of the Sofa, personally inscribed: "To Chan, [peace sign crossed through with the international "no" sign] Peace kills!", from a book tour reading in October 2001. I believe it was the first time I smiled after 9/11.

2 I've always been a big fan of "All the Trouble in the World". Really makes you happy to be an American :-)
