Today was the 14th anniversary of my marriage to the most wonderful, beautiful, intelligent woman that I could ever hope to link up with in this world.

Here's looking forward to the next 14 years, and more.

Update: The picture looks all washed out since I couldn't get the lighting right. I'm no Photoshop expert, so I just jacked up the brightness and added some blue to restore the sky color. The perfect lighting for a house picture will not exist, unfortunately, for another 7 months or so. I figure that at around 3:00 in the afternoon late in the month of February will be just about right. But I couldn't wait ;-)

5 Owlish - actually, we have no boxes left to unpack in the house. Everything is pretty much put away and organized. Our den/family room looks unfinished, as it is awaiting delivery of a couch and coffee table, which should arrive next week. Only a few boxes (mostly books) remain in the garage, which, I might say, looks more orderly than many garages of people who haven't just moved.

6 RP, this section of Plano is unlike much of suburban Dallas in that it has many large trees, some hills, and a creek. Not a big deal to many people in other parts of the country, but a huge blessing on this concrete prairie. One reason (among many) that we did not want to move out of the neighborhood.

7 Congrats! Large trees and small hills anywhere in the Dallas area are a thing to be treasured, for sure. Plano has always reminded me of northwest Austin, only flat...

8 Looks wonderful, John! One of my sisters used to live in Plano---I certainly don't remember there being all that many trees. Looks like you lucked out! Congratulations!
