The perfect Mothers' Day for my wife started with a special gift (loaded with videos our kids made for her), followed by brunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant, a matinee showing of Speed Racer, a slice of Baskin Robbins ice cream cake, a nice hike at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve (in beautiful 75-degree weather), and leftover homemade fajitas for dinner.
