Happy Memorial Day
Well, we've finished our BBQ brisket and pork rib lunch.
I'm sure a lot of people are eating similarly, enjoying some time outdoors in the late Spring weather, and spending time with family.
While we enjoy the freedom to do these things, let's remember the reason for this holiday.

RP, thanks for asking. We are awaiting the signed contract on the new house (final draft, we hope, went out at noon today to the sellers).
Meanwhile, we got fairly heavy traffic through our house this weekend, including two different repeat visits. One of the realtors said we should expect a [lower-than-our-asking-price] offer soon from her clients.
Everything seems to be dropping into place. Check out the "Poinciana" listing
here for a glimpse at the current Lanius estate (the one we're trying to sell). I think it's on the fifth page of results.

Nice. Some friends of mine finally sold their house after it had been on the market for more than 6 months.
Here's hoping your attempt goes smoother.
